We Are 4 1/2 weeks old now!
We are now 4 1/2 weeks old and are starting to look like real puppies! We bark and play and pull each others ears and tails. We are eating like little piggies, we love feeding time! Mom stops in and visits us from time to time.
Update:
We are seeing some beautiful heads on most of the pups, and beautiful small ears. Bodies are broad, most have adequate bone for their age, and for the most part, good tails. Pictures just don't do them justice. At 4 1/2 weeks, here are our observations. Please remember these babies can change dramatically over the next 3 weeks. It is impossible to tell at this point who will be companion quality and who will be breeding quality.
Green boy: Stunning, beautiful head, great underjaw, all over well balanced, our pick for males.
Yellow girl: This girl is the biggest, a happy go lucky personality, and she reminds of so much of Grace's sister, Remy at BearPaw Shilohs.
Periwinkle girl: She is as broad as the boys, has a beautiful head and good pigment. She is one of our pick girls. She is a dark sable
Black Boy: Such a sweetie, although a little smaller than the other boys, he will catch up. He has a beautiful head, and is going to be a very dark dual.
Burgandy girl: Our "little Foxy", this girl reminds us so much of her grandma. She is going to be a striking red-brown sable.
Cream girl: This girl looks as if she is going to have it all, just like her sire, Renegade. At 4 1/2 weeks, she has a perfect head, is overall well balanced and has that perfect saber tail. A black/red dual, she is a keeper!
Orange boy: He is our teddy bear, such a cuddler. He is also going to resemble his grandma Foxy in coloring, a red-brown sable.
Navy boy: He is a big beautiful boy, with that rare masky look to his face, a throw back from the small % of malamute blood found in the Shiloh.
Purple girl: Lil' Hope, the runt of the litter is still the smallest, about 1/2 the size of all the other babies. Although very healthy and quite spunky, we do not expect her to make full shiloh-size. She will be needing a very special home.
